Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the QuietKegel iOS app handles information related to training, settings, and local records. The app follows an offline, on-device, data-minimization approach: it does not create accounts, transmit training data over the internet, display advertising, or track users across apps.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the QuietKegel iOS app (the “App”). The App helps users perform Kegel exercises, use training timers and reminders, view progress, and manage records stored locally on their devices.

This policy describes only the App’s own data practices. When users download, purchase, update, or manage purchases or subscriptions through the Apple App Store, Apple may process information related to Apple ID, payments, devices, downloads, and diagnostics under its own policies. The App does not control that processing.

2. Privacy Practices at a Glance

Item Current practice Details
Account registration Not required The App does not require users to create an account, sign in, or provide identifying details such as a name, email address, or phone number.
Training record uploads Not uploaded Training duration, completion counts, plan settings, reminder preferences, and badge progress are stored locally on the device.
Advertising and tracking Not used The App does not include advertising SDKs, access IDFA, or track users across apps or websites.
Analytics No third-party analytics The App does not integrate third-party analytics SDKs or send usage behavior to third parties.
Third-party sharing Not shared The developer does not sell, rent, exchange, or provide users’ training data to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.
Local control Controlled by the user Users can delete records within the App or remove locally stored App data by uninstalling the App.

3. Data Processed on the Device

To provide training features, the App may store the following information locally on the user’s device. This information is not uploaded to the developer’s servers and cannot be accessed remotely by the developer:

  • Training records: Training dates, duration, completion counts, training phases, streaks, and historical trends.
  • Training plans and preferences: Training mode, duration, sets, pace, sound or haptic preferences, and display preferences.
  • Reminder settings: Locally configured reminder times, on/off status, and repeat schedules.
  • In-app progress: Badges, achievements, completion status, first-use status, and local onboarding state.
  • Local configuration: Language, theme, units, and whether certain tips are displayed.
Kegel training records may reflect a user’s health, physical training, or private habits. The App therefore processes this information on the device by default and avoids transmitting it to the developer or third parties.

4. Data the App Does Not Collect

In the current version, the App does not collect, upload, sell, or share:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, or other contact details;
  • Precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or camera content;
  • Health data from Apple Health or HealthKit;
  • Advertising identifiers, device fingerprints, or cross-app tracking identifiers;
  • User-entered training records, health habits, reminder settings, or local progress; or
  • Third-party advertising, analytics, or behavioral tracking data.

If a future version adds cloud synchronization, accounts, HealthKit access, customer support forms, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, subscription services, or any feature that causes data to leave the device, the developer will update this policy before that feature is released and will update the corresponding App Privacy disclosures in App Store Connect.

5. System Permissions and Local Notifications

The App may ask for permission to send local notifications for training reminders. These reminders are scheduled and displayed by iOS on the user’s device. They do not indicate that the App uses remote push notifications, and they do not cause training records to be uploaded.

  • Users can disable notifications for the App at any time in iOS Settings.
  • Disabling notifications does not affect saved local training records or the ability to start training manually.
  • The current version does not require access to location, contacts, photos, the microphone, or the camera.

6. Third-Party Services, Apple Services, and System Backups

6.1 Third-Party SDKs

The current version does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, crash-analysis, or tracking SDKs. The developer does not use third-party services to collect users’ training data.

6.2 Apple App Store and System Services

When users download, purchase, update, rate, or review the App in the App Store, Apple may process information related to Apple ID, devices, purchases, downloads, payments, diagnostics, or store usage. The developer may receive aggregated sales, download, rating, review, or diagnostic information from Apple. This information generally does not identify individual users and does not include training records stored within the App.

6.3 iCloud Device Backups

If a user enables iCloud Backup or another device backup, iOS may include the App’s local data in that backup under Apple’s system backup rules. The backup is controlled by the user’s Apple ID, device settings, and Apple system services. The developer cannot access the contents of a user’s iCloud backup.

Users who do not want App data included in a device backup can manage iCloud Backup options in iOS Settings or delete records from the App before creating a device backup.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because the App does not upload training data to the developer’s servers, the developer has no server-side training records to retain or delete. Users control how long local data remains on their devices:

  • Training records and settings may remain on the device until the user deletes them so the App can display historical progress and training streaks.
  • Users can clear training records or reset progress using in-app deletion features.
  • Users can delete the App’s data from an iOS device by uninstalling the App.
  • If data has been included in iCloud or local device backups, its retention and deletion are governed by Apple’s backup mechanisms and the user’s backup settings.

8. Data Security

The App stores local data within the iOS app sandbox, which generally prevents other apps from directly accessing it. The protection of local data also depends on the security of the user’s device, including the passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, system version, and backup settings.

No electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security. Users should keep iOS up to date, enable device lock protection, and carefully manage device backups and access to shared devices.

9. User Controls and Privacy Rights

Users can control data related to the App in the following ways:

  • View: View local training records, progress, plans, and reminder settings within the App.
  • Modify: Change training plans, reminder times, and preferences within the App.
  • Delete: Use the App’s deletion or reset features, or uninstall the App to delete data stored on the device.
  • Withdraw notification permission: Disable notifications for the App in iOS Settings.
  • Ask questions: If a user believes the developer holds their personal information, they may contact the developer using the information in this policy. Because the current version does not collect users’ personal data, the developer generally has no user-specific personal records to retrieve.

10. Children

The App is intended for users with independent wellness and training needs. It is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Minors should use the App with the knowledge and appropriate guidance of a parent or guardian.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to the developer while using the App, they may contact the developer using the information in this policy. After verification, the developer will take reasonable steps to address the request.

11. Health and Medical Information

The App provides training timers, reminders, records, and habit-support features. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment advice, or professional medical services. The App is not a medical device and does not replace advice from a physician, physical therapist, or other qualified healthcare professional.

Users who have pelvic-floor pain, urinary symptoms, postoperative rehabilitation needs, pregnancy- or postpartum-related concerns, chronic conditions, worsening pain, or other health concerns should consult a qualified healthcare professional before using the App.

12. Changes to This Policy

The developer may update this Privacy Policy in response to product changes, legal requirements, or App Store review requirements. The updated policy will be published on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top of the page will indicate the latest revision.

If a future version introduces features that materially change the App’s privacy practices—such as accounts, cloud synchronization, server-side data export, third-party analytics, advertising, HealthKit read/write access, or third-party AI services—the developer will provide notice through an in-app explanation, App Store release notes, or an update to this page, as appropriate.

13. Contact Us

For questions, requests, or complaints about this Privacy Policy or the App’s data practices, contact:

If a user contacts the developer by email, the email address, name, and message content they provide will be used only to respond to the request, provide support, or comply with necessary legal obligations. The developer does not sell this contact information to third parties or use it for advertising tracking.
